What goals did you set and/or accomplish in your final collegiate season?
I definitely wanted to win a conference championship this year, also I wanted to keep being consistent on my craft and dominating every game.
Q: How do you think you took advantage of the extra year of eligibility to increase your chances of going pro?
I feel like I showed that I can play in the backfield and play blocks better which wasn’t really my strongest attribute in the past.
Q: What would your coaches and teammates say about the type of player you are?
They would say I am a very tough player, I can play in any circumstances. Also, that they wouldn’t have to doubt if I came into a game ready to play hard and make plays.
Q: When you are studying film, what are the things you focus on to improve your game?
One of the main things I focus on in film is my first step. Making sure that it is quick, fast, and intentional.
Q: What separates you from the other pro prospects at your position?
My versatility is what really sets me apart. With the IQ of the game of football I have, I really feel I can be a game changer and play all in any scheme and at any position on the Defensive Line.
Q: What is your offseason plan to train and prepare for professional opportunities?
I actually have a buddy that is a professional as well, so I plan on working with him until I find an agent.
Q: What kind of strengths and abilities will you bring to a team that will stand out both on and off the field?
I feel the drive, focus, and faith in God that will steer me in the right direction on and off the field. I feel that if I keep those qualities, I will shine and the right organization will realize that.
Q: What is your final pitch to the NFL and any other pro leagues?
I would say that to any organization that is coming across me and considering me, take a chance on me. I’m humble and hungry to show that I belong and I have a lot more to prove in this game I love so much.
