Q: What goals did you set and/or accomplish in your final collegiate season?

In my final season I set out to try and accomplish a few different goals. The first was to win a national championship, which we ultimately came up short in achieving with an early playoff exit in an overtime game. My second was to be a First Team All-Canadian Free Safety which I accomplished thanks to God, my coaches, teammates, and my family. My final goal I had set was to finish as the all time career interception leader at UBC. I came up just short of this and finished 2nd all time with 20.

Q: What would your coaches and teammates say about the type of player you are?

I believe my coaches and teammates would say that I am a great teammate and guy that loves to win. I think they would also say that I have a good football IQ and ball hawking abilities on the field.

Q: When you are studying film, what do you focus on to improve your game?

I focus on the little mistakes I make, whether it be technique, alignment, or mental mistakes. I like to make sure I’m in the right spot to do my job and help my teammates.

Q: What separates you from the other pro prospects at your position?

I believe my fearlessness is one of the main things that separates me from others. I’m not afraid to compete with anyone and rise to the occasion. My football IQ would be next. I pride myself on always knowing my playbook as well as opposition tendencies and formations.

Q: What is your offseason plan to train and prepare for professional opportunities?

I currently train at Carr Elite in my hometown of Bakersfield, California. Carr Elite is owned and operated by David and Derek Carr. My trainer at Carr Elite, Eric Mahanke, is one of the top trainers out there. He always is researching the best ways to reach peak level performance while maintaining a healthy lifestyle. I’ve trained here during my college off seasons and they have helped me be prepared each season.

Q: What kind of strengths and abilities will you bring to a team that will stand out both on and off the field?

My strengths and abilities I will bring to a team will start with leadership. I’m not afraid to be vocal or lead by example just because I’m a rookie. I want to come in and make a positive impact right away and help lead a team to a championship. I will also bring a tenacity on the field to always be the best I can be as well as prepare for each game in order to be successful. I will bring my football IQ which will help me be efficient and strategic when playing the game.

Q: What is your final pitch to the NFL/CFL or any other pro leagues?

My final pitch would be that if you take a chance on me you will be getting a complete pro ready player. If you decide to pass on me it will be your loss. If you can see past the height you’ll will see that I can compete with anyone and play at any level and make plays.

I currently have a CFL agent, but am in the process of looking for an NFL Agent.
