Q: What were some of your goals heading into your final collegiate season?

To get back to the National Championship.

Q: If you could describe your style of play in 3 words, what would they be?

Leader. Relentless. Winner.

Q: How will you train and prepare this offseason for the draft or other pro opportunities?

I’m training at Texas Christian University with some other guys in preparation for the draft.

Q: When you are studying film, what do you focus on or look for?

When I study film, I look at holes in the defense. Areas that a D Coordinator is known for struggling at. I prepare accordingly. We attacked weaknesses.

Q: What separates you from the other players at your position?

Some would say I’m a running QB, but I think I’m a threat in the air as well. My speed and arm strength is what sets me apart.

Q: What kind of strengths and abilities will you bring to a team that will stand out both on and off the field?

I’m able to lead a group, but I’m able to be coached as well. I think it’s important to be good at listening to others who have been there before.

Q: What is your final pitch or sell to NFL and other pro league scouts?

I want the NFL to know they’re getting a hard worker who puts everything he has on the field. A competitor and a fighter. Whoever’s organization I join won’t regret choosing me. I’m coming in with a purpose.
