Q: What goals did you set and/or accomplish in your final collegiate season?
I set out to make the most of my senior season. Most importantly, I wanted to dominate each and every opportunity that I got. While the season didn’t turn out the way we wanted as a team, we finished strong and that is what I am most proud of.
Q: What would your coaches and teammates say about the type of player you are?
They’d say I am a hard-nosed football player who’s very passionate about the game of football and a good leader on and off the field.
Q: When you are studying film, what do you focus on to improve your game?
I am very critical of myself especially in the film room so I am always looking at ways to improve my game. But, I’d have to say a big focal point for me is footwork. Footwork is key no matter what you’re doing: blocking, route running, etc., so I’d say that is what I like to focus on.
Q: What separates you from the other pro prospects at your position?
I’d say my versatility and my blocking. I take pride in my blocking and I enjoy getting after it. Also, being able to be used in different aspects and roles on the team is key for me.
Q: What is your offseason plan to train and prepare for professional opportunities?
I am currently training at Optimal Performance Training Center in Orlando, Florida with trainer Ben DeLaCruz. I will also be completing my Master’s degree this spring.
Q: What kind of strengths and abilities will you bring to a team that will stand out both on and off the field?
My high football IQ, a relentless work ethic, and my versatility as a football player: Fullback/H-Back, attached Tight End, flexed out, and can also long snap. Fullbacks are making a comeback and I am here for it.
Q: What is your final pitch to the NFL or any other pro leagues?
I just need an opportunity to get my foot in the door and showcase what I can do. Once I am there, I am ready to make it happen.
