What goals did you set and/or accomplish in your final collegiate season?

My number one goal was to leave a Legacy and be apart of a National Championship team. I’m proud to say that I have accomplished that during my time at Sam Houston.

Q: How do you think you took advantage of the extra year of eligibility to increase your chances of going pro?

The extra year gave me an opportunity to improve on all the fundamentals of the game. I feel like I have an edge over my opponents from all the football that I played.

Q: What would your coaches and teammates say about the type of player you are?

My coaches and teammates know I’m going to give it my all each play I step on the field no matter the circumstances.

Q: When you are studying film, what are the things you focus on to improve your game?

I first study the personal to see each player strengths and weaknesses. I then try to understand what the opposing teams offensive coordinator like doing in certain situations. When I’m on the field I’m calm because I know what to expect.

Q: What separates you from the other pro prospects at your position?

I’m very reliable, I’ve started in 55 college football games with over 2,500 snaps. I feel like I understand the defensive back position very well.

Q: What is your offseason plan to train and prepare for professional opportunities?

My off-season plan is to gain more weight. Coach Parker is a great strength and conditioning coach at Sam Houston. I been with him for 3+ years and I know he understands what it takes to elevate my body to perform at the next level.

Q: What kind of strengths and abilities will you bring to a team that will stand out both on and off the field?

I will bring a winning energy to whatever team decides to take me. Not only on the field but also in life. I’ve won a State Title in high school and a National Championship in college, I can honestly say that I set everyone around me to high standard and expect nothing but the best. The next step for me is a Super Bowl.

Q: What is your final pitch to the NFL and any other pro leagues?

I understand that the league have a high interest in 6’0 + defensive backs. But if you need a relentless guy that’s going to swarm from point A to point B with no fear of failure then I’m your guy.
