Q: What goals did you set and/or accomplish in your final collegiate season?

A goal that I set this season that I believe I accomplished was just to get better each day. I wanted to perfect my position and be the best at it. There were no other goals like stat chasing or anything because I just wanted to win and that stat alone was good enough for me.

Q: What would your coaches and teammates say about the type of player you are?

My coaches and teammates would say that I am very competitive. I am a person that works hard and very dedicated. I’m a good person to be around, love to joke around and have fun, but when it’s time to be serious, then I lock in.

Q: When you are studying film, what do you focus on to improve your game?

When I study film, I look at how some of the great players played the game. I would go watch Ray Lewis or even some current players and just see how they move on the field, how they talk about their job and even how they break down film themselves. I use film as a way to learn my opponent so that I have played the game multiple times in my mind before I actually play the actual game. It’s a way of preparing for everything that could possibly happen so there is no surprise in the actual game.

Q: What separates you from the other pro prospects at your position?

Things that separate me from other pro prospects is my determination, work ethic and effort that I give. My determination is something that I pride myself on because when I’m determined to do something, I do it and once it’s done, I don’t look back at it with no regrets. My work ethic is what keeps me going every day. There has never been a time where I would say this is too hard I can’t do it, it’s always work harder and everything will begin to become natural. Effort isn’t something that I personally have, effort is in everyone it takes no talent or anything you just have to want it!

Q: What is your offseason plan to train and prepare for professional opportunities?

My offseason will consist of me training with my trainer, gaining more weight, working on speed, my position technique and really putting my body in a position to be showcased because that’s what that level is all about.

Q: What kind of strengths and abilities will you bring to a team that will stand out both on and off the field?

Strengths and abilities that I will bring to my team on the field is my speed, strength and ability to notice formations that I’ve seen in film and adapt that to live situations. Off the field, my relationships with teammates and coaches would be good because I’m a person that wants to build a relationship with the people that are working towards the same goals as me, otherwise it would be boring.

Q: What is your final pitch to the NFL or any other pro leagues?

My final pitch to the NFL or any pro league is I live and breath football. I am looking for an opportunity to display my talent on the field and play at the next level. My talent will speak for itself. I value the game and I’m ready to be the beat I can be on the field.
