Q: What goals did you set and/or accomplish in your final collegiate season?

I wanted to help establish a winning culture after transferring to USF and as a team we accomplished that. We went from 2 wins, to conference champions, and ended this last season as conference runner up.

Q: What would your coaches and teammates say about the type of player you are?

I’m a player who prides themselves on knowing the game inside and out. Someone who possesses all the talent but sets himself apart by knowing what the opponent is going to do before they do it.

Q: When you are studying film, what are the things you focus on to improve your game?

I tend to focus on the placement and angle of my feet when driving on routes or opening up to run with the WR. Also, I look to see how well I block destructed that day, if my hands were inside and violent particular.

Q: What separates you from the other pro prospects at your position?

My knowledge of offensive concepts, particularly the passing game and understanding what coordinators are trying to accomplish with certain route concepts, who they are trying to put in a stressful situation, and the best ways to defend each concept so I can allow the dline time to eat up front.

Q: What is your offseason plan to train and prepare for professional opportunities?

My plan is to stay ready by training 6 days a week. Allowing myself the opportunity to thrive in any situation when I’m given the chance.

Q: What kind of strengths and abilities will you bring to a team that will stand out both on and off the field?

As an Ex-QB I pride myself on leading by example. On the field I will bring a winners mentality, not accepting excuses for losing but rather finding ways to fix the mistakes that led to a loss. Also, my work ethic of staying late doing extra hours of training on the field and in the film room. Off the field I’m a teammate who loves getting to know everyone because I understand that in order to win at the highest level it requires an unbreakable bond.

Q: What is your final pitch to the NFL and any other pro leagues?

You are giving a young man a chance who loves the game and getting better. I have a firm understanding of the game and have the skill to match it.
