Q: What goals did you set and/or accomplish in your final collegiate season?

Made first team all conference, become more technically sound within my position, lead by example not by title.

Q: What would your coaches and teammates say about the type of player you are?

A leader by example, strong and explosive, gentle giant outside of the field and a monster on the field. I have a calm personality that most know when meeting me. I have used that part of me to make our defense work together as a whole.

Q: When you are studying film, what are the things you focus on to improve your game?

The first thing I focus on in film is grading my own performance by my alignment, assignment and technique. After that, I pay attention to the small details that will help give me an edge in order to make plays. Things like the type of team we are playing, down and distance, and tendencies of the O-line I am going to be facing help to improve my overall ability to make plays and help our team win.

Q: What separates you from the other pro prospects at your position?

I’m an explosive player. I’m an older guy, which gives me an edge to be able to perform immediately. I’m mature and my IQ in my position sets me apart.

Q: What is your offseason plan to train and prepare for professional opportunities?

I am currently training for a pro day. Working on explosive strength, technical lineman skills, speed, and progressive markers.

Q: What kind of strengths and abilities will you bring to a team that will stand out both on and off the field?

Special strengths that I have is being big in size, but being able to move on all sides of the line. My endurance and my motor helps me to perform my job and much more. Basically seeing a big guy move fast is something that catches a lot of people off guard. Speaking of size is something that has always followed me…which I take pride in because it’s been some of my biggest life lessons. Off the field, I fit the mold of a Polynesian football player. Big legs, big shoulder, big hair. But one thing that I cherish is my big heart. Along with my personal responsibilities of god and family, my heart has gotten me places. It has impacted my game, my skill, and has strengthened my work ethic. I am a hard worker and I have so much heart for this game of football. Big man with a big heart, ready to play.

Q: What is your final pitch to the NFL and any other pro leagues?

My football journey has been a ride. Being an older player has strengthened my abilities to be ready to play immediately. I’m mature in life and the game, so when I enter into a program, I can be effective immediately. My natural IQ in football has taken me to different programs within my collegiate career, which helps me to become versatile, and I can adapt to schemes, runs, and plays. Im a hard worker with a big body and big heart. I believe I would be an asset to a team and their Defensive Line up.
