Q: What goals did you set and/or accomplish in your final collegiate season?
I set out to get stronger and faster and slim down during my final season.
Q: What would your coaches and teammates say about the type of player you are?
They would say I’m a very hardworking talented individual. They would say I move very well for my size, and have an explosive first step.
Q: When you are studying film, what do you focus on to improve your game?
I like to focus on me staying low and taking the correct steps. I look to see if I have proper hand placement. I also watch a lot of the shorter DT in the NFL just such as Grady Jarret, DJ Jones, Geno Atkins, and Aaron Donald, to try and pick up on some of their tendencies and moves.
Q: What separates you from the other pro prospects at your position?
I’m going in with the mindset to outwork everybody, very competitive. I want to win every snap. I am very coachable and willing to learn and very humble.
Q: What is your offseason plan to train and prepare for professional opportunities?
I plan on joining the APEC gym in Tyler, Texas to get ready for all of the future blessings and opportunities coming my way.
Q: What kind of strengths and abilities will you bring to a team that will stand out both on and off the field?
I can be a very good leader on and off the field. I am always going to have a positive mindset and uplift my teammates. On the field I bring a high motor and a great ability to get after the QB and stop the run.
Q: What is your final pitch to the NFL or any other pro leagues?
Any team willing to give me a shot will be getting one of the hardest working players, that will put team success over my individual success any day.
