Q: What goals did you set and/or accomplish in your final collegiate season?

This past season my goals were to leave the team better than I found it. I finished off my collegiate career with setting a school record for 3 TD in one game. One of my goals that I set was to be more vocal within my team. I’m usually the type who allows my actions to lead by example but I started to be more vocal. I was able to do this by (motivating players verbally or encouraging them to work out, outside of scheduled practices) …… to help the team out with a little more leadership, and just to be a better example. I am a big believer of team collaboration and by speaking up, it not only taught me to motivate myself and teammates and has created an uplifting atmosphere that contributes to the overall performance on the field.

Q: What would your coaches and teammates say about the type of player you are?

My coaches, teammates, and anyone else that ever seen me play will be able to tell you I give it my all. I do not take plays off, as the game means more to me than that….. I’m about that grit that grind and I just leave it all on the field each play. To me each play is an opportunity to score and better the team. I understand that you cannot control everything that happens to you but you can control how you respond. With positivity leadership goes a long way.

Q: When you are studying film, what are the things you focus on to improve your game?

When watching myself on film I believe that there’s room for improvement in all aspects. There is always room for improvement. In particular I focus on my blocking and becoming a better receiver. I believe these are the things that would improve my game. When watching opponents film I try to pick up on any tendency that they show. If that is the coordinator and when he dials up blitzes or to how their linebackers fill their gaps. All is worth studying to give us a competitive advantage.

Q: What separates you from the other pro prospects at your position?

The thing that separates me from the other pro prospects is that I know myself, I know my worth, my determination and will. I’m very battle tested and I love to get to work, it’s not just about the game but all the hard work you put into it as well. I’m in love with football as a whole. Also I’m eager to learn more about myself as I’m enhancing my skills and more about the game.

Q: What is your offseason plan to train and prepare for professional opportunities?

My offseason plan is of course to study film, but I also plan to work out with my cousin. He plays in the CFL for Winnipeg. I plan on getting in that work with Winston Rose and just keeping my mind and body right, and overall staying healthy all in one getting stronger. As well as working on my overall game as a whole inorder to be ready to show the resilient football player that I am. I can hold my own as a professional against whomever it may be, I’m ready to prove myself.

Q: What kind of strengths and abilities will you bring to a team that will stand out both on and off the field?

The abilities I’ll bring to a team off the field and on the field, well one that stands out for me being a competitor. I have the drive to compete, no matter what. I want to be the one that comes out on top, like it’s in me to compete! But also putting a team first, like I have a team first mentality and I’ll do what’s asked of me for the better of my team. I’m very coachable. I’ll never stop learning and listening and that’s what makes football worthwhile.

Q: What is your final pitch to the NFL and any other pro leagues?

My final pitch for the NFL and all other professional football leagues is that I’m no stranger to hard work. I love the grind. I’m focused on being the best teammate and player I can be. I love the game. I’m a film rat/gym rat and I play the game like it’s supposed to be played with all my heart. I’m eager to take advantage of any and all opportunities that will showcase who I am as a player as well as a young man, my work ethic is one of one. I’m ready to get out on the field to do what I do best, play the game that I fell in love with as a kid. It’s all truly a dream come true to even be in conversation about it all and just excited and ready.
