Q: What were some of your goals heading into your final collegiate season?

Be better than what I was the previous years, lead my team the right way, finish All-Conference and All-American, and most importantly winning a ring.

Q: If you could describe your style of play in 3 words, what would they be?

Ballhawk, Physical, and Fast.

Q: How will you train and prepare this offseason for the draft or other pro opportunities?

I’ll continue training in Baton Rouge with Ryan Clark, Mo Wells, and the rest of the staff at Traction Sports Performance. Keep improving my speed, strength, and football drills that’ll make me become a better football player.

Q: When you are studying film, what do you focus on or look for?

I focus a lot on where the receiver lines up. If you study it hard enough it could give away a few route tendencies. I also focus in on their releases at the line of scrimmage. At CB, if you are able to not let the receiver get off the line or alter their timing then you’re pretty much already winning.

Q: What separates you from the other players at your position?

Being able to showcase my ball hawking ability and taking pride in locking up the receiver that lines up across from the ball. Also being physical and having speed.

Q: What kind of strengths and abilities will you bring to a team that will stand out both on and off the field?

Talent, work ethic, and natural ability. Also being able to stay out of trouble and staying focused on the organization and myself.

Q: What is your final pitch or sell to NFL and other pro league scouts?

I just know coming from a D1-AA, we often get overlooked because we were not competing at the highest level, but I am very confident in my skill ability and I’m looking forward to competing with the biggest and the best. Willing to put in the extra work and doing whatever it takes the compete and be successful in the NFL.
