Q: What were some of your goals heading into your final collegiate season?
My goals leading into my Senior season were to repeat as conference champs, reach 1,000 receiving yards, and make a run in the playoffs to play in the championship.
Q: If you could describe your style of play in 3 words, what would they be?
Physical, big time catcher, smart.
Q: How will you train and prepare this offseason for the draft or other pro opportunities?
I will improve position techniques and my strength. Working on combine drills, lifting weights, and maintaining healthy lifestyle.
Q: When you are studying film, what do you focus on or look for?
When I study film, I watch for Defensive Back techniques. I watch how well they move and if they can tackle. Also, I tend to check out Outside Linebackers who may buzz out to take away some quick game.
Q: What separates you from the other players at your position?
I think my catch radius separates me from other Wide Receivers. My ability to catch in traffic and make big body catches. Also, catching purely with my hands, I can move the ball around to avoid defenders from knocking it out.
Q: What kind of strengths and abilities will you bring to a team that will stand out both on and off the field?
I will bring great character and a trustworthy teammate. I have great social skills and I am a hard working player. As a receiver, I will be the best go to guy on third down and any distance. I will earn the trust from coaches and teammates as a solid play maker.
Q: What is your final pitch or sell to NFL and other pro league scouts?
Understanding that scouts can find players who can jump high and run fast, finding a person who will bring a sense of character and a great work ethic is harder to find. I come from nothing and my path to where I am today came from me working hard and being who I am. I make due with what I have and succeed to the net level. I am a survivor and a competitor.
