Name: T’Nahleg Hall
School: St. Ambrose University
Position: RB
Height: 6-0
Weight: 220
Q: What goals did you set and/or accomplish in your final collegiate season?
Transferring to SAU, a goal of mine was to help set the standard what it means to be a St. Ambrose football player. I wanted to do whatever to help the team win, and to be the best football player and leader that I could be.
Q: What would your coaches and teammates say about the type of player you are?
My teammates and coaches would say that I am one of the most competitive people they know. Someone who is willing to push those around him to be great, and someone that they can depend on. Of course they will say I am the best dancer on the team.
Q: When you are studying film, what are the things you focus on to improve your game?
I focus to pick apart any and all pre-snap cues/reads. I like to focus on tendencies to give myself an advantage over my opponent. Knowing what a defense may do based on personnel, alignment, and body language. Watching practice is when I really critique myself to improve the small areas such as pressing the LOS to set up blocks.
Q: What separates you from the other pro prospects at your position?
What separates me is my versatility in my position. Big, fast, and a hard runner with some finesse. Also, being a power back that can catch out the backfield well and be able to line up as wide receiver. I am also very well experienced as a third down back picking up blitzes and reading defenses.
Q: What is your offseason plan to train and prepare for professional opportunities?
I am planning to train at 360 speed and performance back home with Eric Crowhurst.
Q: What kind of strengths and abilities will you bring to a team that will stand out both on and off the field?
Some of my strengths on the field include my blocking ability, catching out the backfield, my versatility. Some of my strengths off the field include my work ethic and my eagerness to learn. I am always wanting to learn more and understand the game. I will seek any chance to soak up and learn from all the guys I come across and do whatever the team requires of me to make us 1% better.
Q: What is your final pitch to the NFL and any other pro leagues?
My final pitch to the NFL and other pro leagues would be, “Just know when you choose me to help improve your football team just know you are getting the hardest working and most versatile back you will ever run into”. You are getting an even better person who wants the best for others. To inspire each individual throughout the process in some ways, not just in football. I am coachable and ready to learn!
