What goals did you set and/or accomplish in your final collegiate season?

A couple of my goals this season was to create history for the university and as well as obtaining All-Conference Honors. There were accolades this past season that hadn’t been done in 30 plus years.

Q: How do you think you took advantage of the extra year of eligibility to increase your chances of going pro?

I took advantage of this year by further developing my knowledge of the game, I want to learn as much as I can. I made sure that I took every opportunity to do so. I know how important it is to have knowledge in the NFL, so I assured that I took the appropriate actions for that. These habits also create faster play speed.

Q: What would your coaches and teammates say about the type of player you are?

My coaches and teammates would say that I’m a leader which takes initiative. My dedication to the game is like no other. I come to work everyday looking to improve on something pertaining to my craft. I will do whatever it takes in order for the team to win.

Q: When you are studying film, what are the things you focus on to improve your game?

When I have film study, I critique myself on every little detail while going through each play multiple times. Whether that be how I move pre-snap, during the play, or post-snap. When watching opponents, I always look to see what the opposing team’s tendencies are. Play recognition will allow me to make more plays. I also go through the game while making calls from the call sheet to create possible scenarios in my head.

Q: What separates you from the other pro prospects at your position?

Something that separates me is my knowledge that I have, and my ability to retain information. I’m always looking to learn more about concepts, designs, and techniques. I want to be critiqued any way possible because that will only make me better at the end of the day.

Q: What is your offseason plan to train and prepare for professional opportunities?

This off-season I plan to work with as many credible sources to help me improve my game and my body (mentally and physically) on/off the field.

Q: What kind of strengths and abilities will you bring to a team that will stand out both on and off the field?

I bring leadership, I’ll bring energy to any room that I step foot it, and have I have such a high drive of competitive toughness. I will compete all day, as long as it takes. I obtain the ability to persevere through any situation ahead of me.

Q: What is your final pitch to the NFL and any other pro leagues?

I am a 3x team captain, I’m always looking to make an impact anywhere I go. I love to be coached. I am versatile, my versatility is something that I really look forward to showcasing. I can make plays in space, in the box, in the air, off the edge, in the slot. wherever needed. I’m always looking to get better.
