What goals did you set and/or accomplish in your final collegiate season?

The goals thats I set were goals such as making it known I’m a key factor on special teams and this year I made it known by running down on Punt and Kickoff making tackles. Another goal I set was to not give up a touchdown the whole year and I accomplished that goal.

Q: How do you think you took advantage of the extra year of eligibility to increase your chances of going pro?

The extra year helped me a lot in developing my body more, we had a new coaching staff so it helped getting to know them more. They put me in every position to succeed this season.

Q: What would your coaches and teammates say about the type of player you are?

They would say I’m a great team player, I’m someone that’s going to get the job done, no matter the assignment.

Q: When you are studying film, what are the things you focus on to improve your game?

When I’m studying my film I look for mainly false steps, because that can be the difference between a pass breakup and an interception. So I try to make sure I don’t make any false movements. Watching film on my next opponent I look for tendencies and what they do in different formations.

Q: What separates you from the other pro prospects at your position?

I’m someone you can play anywhere on the field as far as in the Secondary and do it well. You can put me at the Slot Corner, Outside corner and Safety and I will still perform at a high level. Many people aren’t able to do that or have that in their game. I love to tackle but I’m also really good in coverage.

Q: What is your offseason plan to train and prepare for professional opportunities?

My plan is to train with my trainers focusing on speed to get my 40 yard dash time down. I’ve taken my strength training to another level the way my strength coach has me lifting as well.

Q: What kind of strengths and abilities will you bring to a team that will stand out both on and off the field?

The energy I bring out of everybody when I’m out there. My versatility of being able to play anywhere in the secondary and it’s shown on film that I do it all at a high level. My tackling skills and coverage skills together are elite. I can cover a lot of range in coverage as well.

Q: What is your final pitch to the NFL and any other pro leagues?

My final pitch is if they’re looking for a guy with confidence and truly feel like I’m one of the best defensive backs in college I’m there guy. Someone who’s going to step up and make a play no matter if it’s special teams or on defense I’m there guy!
