Q: What were some of your goals heading into your final collegiate season?

My main goal coming into my final season was to have fun and execute one play at a time and do whatever it takes to help my team win.

Q: If you could describe your style of play in 3 words, what would they be?

Instinctive, Relentless, and Aggressive.

Q: How will you train and prepare this offseason for the draft or other pro opportunities?

I will be training at my school with my strength and condition coach, Tyler Ayers, and work on improving on all phases of the game and improving my craft.

Q: When you are studying film, what do you focus on or look for?

I study the formations and down and distance to help diagnose what type of plays to expect and look for what type of tendencies I can learn from looking at the Offensive Line, if they are light on their hand, checking to see how the Quarterback makes his read progressions on a 3 to 5 step drop or his hand signals and watch how the Wide Receiver/Tight End runs their routes and if they are good at getting off the jam or blocking. Finally, I watch special teams because it’s an important aspect of the game.

Q: What separates you from the other players at your position?

I am very versatile I can play Safety or Outside Linebacker and even rush off the edge. I just get the job done. I had 3 sacks and won Defensive MVP in a FCS Bowl Game in Daytona Beach and also got invited to the FBS Tropical Bowl game to where I had 4 tkls and 1 pbu. I can also play special teams. I enjoy being on the field and being a team player.

Q: What kind of strengths and abilities will you bring to a team that will stand out both on and off the field?

You can never stop learning new things because knowledge is the key to succeeding in life. I like to lead by action and not too much by talking. I like to hold myself and others accountable for their actions and always give advice to help people make better decisions and help people reach their full potential, not only to become a better football player, but also a better husband, father or even a son.

Q: What is your final pitch or sell to NFL and other pro league scouts?

All I need is one opportunity to showcase my talent and I promise you I’m going to compete until the whistle blows.
