Q: What goals did you set and/or accomplish in your final collegiate season?
In my final season my goals were to finish as a national champion but we came up short. I was able to finish my collegiate career with a great group of guys. I also set out to finish as an All American and one of the top return specialists in the country and I’m blessed to say that I was able to do that.
Q: What would your coaches and teammates say about the type of player you are?
My coaches and teammates would say that I am a great teammate and that I’m smart and hardworking. Whatever it is that a coach or teammate may need from me I’m there, with no questions asked. I’m always willing to help the the person next to me and I am very coachable.
Q: When you are studying film, what are the things you focus on to improve your game?
When I’m watching film I really emphasize watching my releases and I really like to watch special teams film. Watching kickers to see where they like to kick the ball, and trying to pick up on the tendencies they may have. I also like to watch my teammates because I sometimes learn things from them, such as different releases and things of that nature which I can put in my toolbox.
Q: What separates you from the other pro prospects at your position?
I believe what separates me from other prospects is that I can be a weapon not just as a WR but as a special teams guy as well. Dirty work and whatever else is needed to be done, I’m willing to do it. I love ball and I just want to contribute the best of my ability.
Q: What is your offseason plan to train and prepare for professional opportunities?
I plan on training here in my hometown of Buffalo, NY and having the best off-season of my life. Lifting, film study, route running, and much more to prepare myself for the next level.
Q: What kind of strengths and abilities will you bring to a team that will stand out both on and off the field?
I look at myself as a high character guy, I don’t want anyone to ever say that my character is no good. My name is all I have and I take pride in that. I think character is something that goes way beyond the game of football and I think it speaks volumes about the type of person you are on and off the field.
Q: What is your final pitch to the NFL and any other pro leagues?
I love ball and I want to continue to do it at the highest level possible. I’m not a one trick pony. I can do multiple things that can help a team win. As stated before I’m a high character guy who just needs an opportunity to show what I can do!
