Name: Terence Stephens Jr
School: Robert Morris
Position: RB
Height: 6’0″
Weight: 205
Q: What goals did you set and/or accomplish in your final collegiate season?
Personally, my goals going into the season were to: 1. Rush for 1,000 yards, 2. Have over 10 rushing TD’s, 3. Have at least over 200 receiving yards. I also wanted to share my knowledge to the younger RBs because it would create chemistry in the room. As far as team oriented goals: 1. Win the NEC which is our conference, 2. Win over 2 games which we accomplished, 3. Win a national championship. We finished 6-1 in the conference and finished 7-5 overall which was big for the program because we haven’t had a winning season since 2010.
Q: What would your coaches and teammates say about the type of player you are?
They would say I’m hard working and I would do anything to help the team win.
Q: When you are studying film, what do you focus on to improve your game?
When I watch film I think about 3 key points. 1. My alignment and assignment. 2. The major coaching points my coaches provided me with to be successful. 3. How does the structure of the defense affect my assignment.
Q: What separates you from the other pro prospects at your position?
My knowledge and technique is better than the other pro prospects. My hands and route running is better than the other RB’s. I’m probably the only RB in this draft class to have over 100 yds rushing and 100 yds receiving in a single game. I’m also great at recognizing and picking up the blitz.
Q: What is your offseason plan to train and prepare for professional opportunities?
I have a couple places in mind to train. The first is at Gorssetti Performance in Pennsylvania. For professional opportunities I’m going to participate in the College Gridiron showcase. I will pray to get an invite to the NFL combine.
Q: What kind of strengths and abilities will you bring to a team that will stand out both on and off the field?
I have outstanding character. I’m willing to give back to the community. I know how to overcome adversity when it strikes.
Q: What is your final pitch to the NFL or any other pro leagues?
I will do anything for the team to be successful. I know how to play my role which can be on special teams, offense and the practice squad. I’m hard working and will always look for ways to better myself and the team.
