What goals did you set and/or accomplish in your final collegiate season?

This season i set goals to completely redefine my game by transferring from an Athlete to both now complimenting my athleticism with become a Technician, having a sharper mind which help me read the action better and slow the game down.

Q: How do you think you took advantage of the extra year of eligibility to increase your chances of going pro?

I took advantage of this extra year by making sure my mental was one of the strongest weapons. By watching more film, studying my opponent i was able to slow the game down and accelerate when I wanted.

Q: What would your coaches and teammates say about the type of player you are?

My coaches and teammates would speak values about my ability to make plays as well as my heart on the field. They’d tell you that I go out there every trip and leave it all on the line.

Q: When you are studying film, what are the things you focus on to improve your game?

When studying film I focus on my footwork and my opponent. I make sure that my stance is solid and comfortable then I make sure to watch my feet when a WR gives me certain releases.

Q: What separates you from the other pro prospects at your position?

One thing that separates me from other prospects is my ability to read the play and make a play before anyone else is ready.  With this ability it’s helped me become more of ball hawk and has mad most QBs look the other way.

Q: What is your offseason plan to train and prepare for professional opportunities?

My offseason plan is to stay in the best shape as possible, continuing to workout 3-4 times a week as well as spending every night on the field keep my footwork and hips crisp.

Q: What kind of strengths and abilities will you bring to a team that will stand out both on and off the field?

Some strengthens that i can bring to a team are leadership, fearlessness, and the willingness to want to be coached and become a better athlete. Which also relates to off the field for me just being a laid back guys willing to work and gain and understanding in life.

Q: What is your final pitch to the NFL and any other pro leagues?

I’m a kid who’s been blessed with a chance to find out what he’s actually good at in life. With all the odds stacked up against me, weather it be the Hood/Projects I was brought up in, my ability to work through the struggles of life have always transferred to me running every yard by myself on the field. I welcome any and every team/coach/and organization to reach out, when given the chance I’ll give you guys every ounce that I have.
