Q: What goals did you set and/or accomplish in your final collegiate season?

Senior season my goal was to make All Southland Conference and Academic All Conference. Coming out of Juco not many coaches knew who I was so I felt like my name was just passed about my Junior year. But after my senior season they knew who I was. I performed well and took care of the classroom to make the All Southland and Academic All conference teams.

Q: What would your coaches and teammates say about the type of player you are?

I feel like my coaches and teammates would say that I’m a workhorse. I like to put my head down and push through the obstacles ahead. I’m a physical player and can dominate the run game.

Q: When you are studying film, what do you focus on to improve your game?

I try to focus on what tendencies the defensive line likes to use. If I get to see what they tend to do then that better prepares me for the game. I look to see how the defensive line align themselves, if it’s to the boundary, off the running back / tight end, or anything else that will give their movements away. Being prepared for what they do will give me the ability to do my assignment better. 

Q: What separates you from the other pro prospects at your position?

What separates me from the others is my physicality. I take pride in being a physical lineman and dominating at the line of scrimmage and the second level. I move well and am able to capture past the LOS. My football Intelligence helps me understand what to expect. 

Q: What is your offseason plan to train and prepare for professional opportunities?

Right now I am training 6 times a week in Beaumont, Texas getting myself ready for whatever opportunity comes next. 

Q: What kind of strengths and abilities will you bring to a team that will stand out both on and off the field?

I can bring a high football IQ that will understand the game of football. I can play any position inside of the offensive line and can be a beast in the run game. 

Q: What is your final pitch to the NFL or any other pro leagues?

I’m ready to work! I’m a smart, athletic lineman that could benefit any team. My film will show you that I am able to play in the big leagues and contribute at that level. I’m a lead by example type of player so you know I will put in the work! Have always been counted out at every level of football but I have always proved them wrong.
