Q: What goals did you set and/or accomplish in your final collegiate season?

My goals were to battle back through the injuries that I experienced in the beginning of the season and to be able to make it back to the playoffs. My redshirt freshmen season was the last time our team had the opportunity to play in the playoffs and it was an amazing feeling being back their one last time. In addition to making the playoffs, we also successfully beat our rival Delaware during all my 5 years with the program. Although winning is important, as a team we vowed to become responsible young men that people looked up to.

Q: What would your coaches and teammates say about the type of player you are?

I am a player that is extremely meticulous about his play and am always trying to perfect my technique. I am always trying to make sure that my teammates and I are on the same page and that our assignments correlate based on different scenarios.

Q: When you are studying film, what do you focus on to improve your game?

I try to focus on the techniques of my opponents to see how I can best leverage my skills. I would also study the different ways a defense aligns based on our formations and then I would envision running a different array of plays out of that formation. When I study film on myself I like to see if my technique is sound and how I can improve it.

Q: What separates you from the other pro prospects at your position?

What separates me is my athleticism and ability to learn quick. I am a tight end that has the ability to down block a defensive lineman while also being able to outrun a linebacker/safety. My ability to learn quickly and meticulous study habits allows me to pick up a scheme quick.

Q: What is your offseason plan to train and prepare for professional opportunities?

My offseason plan is to continue my weight training at Villanova, while working on my speed training with Parisi Speed School and Overachieve at King of Prussia, PA.

Q: What kind of strengths and abilities will you bring to a team that will stand out both on and off the field?

My strengths are similar to what I said for what makes me standout on the field. Off the field, I am an individual that loves to learn, to improve himself in all aspects of life, and one who desires to be a leader in the community.

Q: What is your final pitch to the NFL or any other pro leagues?

With me, NFL teams will get a player that is extremely eager to develop his craft and to be a vital part of any organization. I am a player that is able to be a game changer at the tight end position because of my versatility. I am also a player that is conscious of my decisions and will always put the team before any selfish personal decision. NFL teams will get a player that is constantly striving to be a better player, but more importantly a better person.
