Q: What goals did you set and/or accomplish in your final collegiate season?
My goals were as a team make the playoffs, Average a sack a game. However those goals fell short. But the goal to be and a dominate Presents up front and be a reliable teammate was reached. A goal was to be a physical and mental threat to opposing teams and make the backfield nervous. I truly believe that goal was reached.
Q: What would your coaches and teammates say about the type of player you are?
My coaches and teammates would say I am big, strong, physical, puts heart and soul into it, violent hands. High character, caring, trustworthy human also extremely hardworking, eager to learn, and a leader on and off the field. They made the comment of me being a fear factor for opposing teams.
Q: When you are studying film, what do you focus on to improve your game?
When I study film I watch my feet and hands and how I move. I see what I can do better or read better. I watch the little things like offensive players body language and tell tail signs, hand signals and any small details. I watch the formations they are in and what the play tendency’s are. I watch how our defense works and job responsibilities for the big picture. Also analyze how we move as a unit in the schemes. Over all I pick apart my positions movements and body mechanics to better prepare for the next day.
Q: What separates you from the other pro prospects at your position?
What separates me from other prospects is my character and mental aspects, in my mind I will out work anyone and have game day effort at all cost. I have a high motor and have a dual threat of speed and strength. If I’m on the ground I’ll be the first to get up and pursue a play.
Q: What is your offseason plan to train and prepare for professional opportunities?
My offseason plans to train will be with an ex NFL pro bowler defensive linemen and work on position specifics. As well as work with a training staff on my weaknesses. And strength and conditioning. As Well as physical and mental aspects of the game with my agent.
Q: What kind of strengths and abilities will you bring to a team that will stand out both on and off the field?
My character will be a standout along with my work ethic and drive. My ability to face adversity and be resistant on and off the field. Being coachable and eager to learn.
Q: What is your final pitch to the NFL or any other pro leagues?
Any opportunity I have I will make the most of it and would be worth your time to see put my actions where my words are. My lifelong dream is in my fingertips and my hard work ethic is going stronger than ever. Seeing my character and effort along with my physical attributes will be worth your time. Playing football has allowed me to apply the skills I’ve learned to life as well and see the bigger picture. pursuing a professional career In football is more than just football. I plan to be a leader and role model for people who have not had this opportunity as well as my home community. I just need a chance to prove my worth.
