I set plenty of goals as a senior on the field. Some of my goals were achieved and others weren’t. However one goal was to become more of a vocal leader on the team. With that I was one of the players selected to be a captain by my teammates.
Q: What would your coaches and teammates say about the type of player you are?
My teammates and coaches would say I am a hardworking and dependable guy. I was always ready and availableI an didn’t mind playing special teams. At one point I was on four special teams units as well as starting at CB. They also would also say I am tough on myself because I like to have perfect practices.
Q: When you are studying film, what do you focus on to improve your game?
One thing I focus on to Improve my game while watching film is by studying and trying to find offensive keys. By that I mean, watching how the WR lines up in run vs pass situations, offensive formations, what route concepts do they like on certain parts of the field, and other little keys like that.
Q: What separates you from the other pro prospects at your position?
One thing that separates me is my work ethic.
Q: What is your offseason plan to train and prepare for professional opportunities?
My offseason plan is to continue to work hard lifting, doing DB drills, and staying in shape so I can be ready and do the best I can whenever the opportunity presents itself.
Q: What kind of strengths and abilities will you bring to a team that will stand out both on and off the field?
Strengths I can bring to a team is my height and my athleticism. I’m willing to do whatever it takes to win, in other words I am a selfless player. Off the field strengths are my character, and being raised in a Christian home I don’t have any off the field issues, and never had any throughout college.
Q: What is your final pitch to the NFL/CFL or any other pro leagues?
My final pitch to any professional team is, they should pick me because I’m willing to invest everything into my opportunity. Also the players with chips on their shoulders are usually the players who excel because they love to prove statistics wrong and other people wrong. I am one of those players!
