Q: What goals did you set and/or accomplish in your final collegiate season?
Some personal goals of mine for my senior season were to lead our team in receiving touchdowns, which I had done in my junior season, and contribute to team wins by proving myself as being the go-to guy. I achieved this goal and it helped prove my consistency as a player. My team unfortunately did not make the playoffs, but we were able to win the New York State Bowl ending the season with a winning record.
Q: What would your coaches and teammates say about the type of player you are?
My coaches and teammates would say that I am a playmaker who competes and is not afraid to go up and get the ball. I’m a guy who always knows his assignment and does his job.
Q: When you are studying film, what do you focus on to improve your game?
When watching film on opponents, I like to see how aggressive the corners play and the different coverages the defense runs. When watching game/practice film I focus on my technique and route running to see what I can improve.
Q: What separates you from the other pro prospects at your position?
My ability to come down with contested balls and my will to win. I use my game-speed to my advantage and I pride myself on catching everything that touches my hands. No matter who is in front of me, I’m going to come down with the ball.
Q: What is your offseason plan to train and prepare for professional opportunities?
I will continue to train every single day and workout with my strength coaches and the facilities I go to at home. Footwork drills, weightlifting, and conditioning is the plan to keep my body in top shape.
Q: What kind of strengths and abilities will you bring to a team that will stand out both on and off the field?
The strengths I will bring to a team will be my ability to push myself and other guys on the team to their limits on the field. I bring positive energy and am dedicated to the game of football. Another attribute I will bring is being able to build relationships and form team camaraderie off the field.
Q: What is your final pitch to the NFL or any other pro leagues?
Any team that is willing to take a chance on me will be getting a guy who is willing to keep his mouth shut and go to work every single day. I play with passion, and my ultimate goal is to get better everyday and do whatever I can to help the team win.
