Q: What goals did you set and/or accomplish in your final collegiate season?

Like any other year, I just wanted to help the team win. My main goal this year was to contribute in any way possible in order to win.

Q: What would your coaches and teammates say about the type of player you are?

They would say that I’m extremely selfless, trustworthy, and works really hard. A leader. They would say I’m very smart as well. Some would even say that playing with me is like having an extra coach on the field.

Q: When you are studying film, what are the things you focus on to improve your game?

What can I do to become a step faster than my opponent. That’s accomplished by working on my technique and craft. Looking at where I need to be on the field, my landmarks. What areas I can do certain things vs what areas to be more conservative. Studying the opponent. Picking up on tendencies and other things to help get the play or help my teammate get to a play.

Q: What separates you from the other pro prospects at your position?

My versatility. I can play any defensive back position on the field. My knowledge as well. I’m very gifted and smart on the field which ultimately is a tool that I use to help myself but my teammates as well. I’m a fierce competitor who’s willing to do whatever it takes to WIN.

Q: What is your offseason plan to train and prepare for professional opportunities?

Always being prepared. Just continuing to work and push my self day in and day out. I’ve been implementing track workouts into my routine as well. I’m with my track coach everyday during the week working on speed and making sure I’m in the best shape when it’s time for camp.

Q: What kind of strengths and abilities will you bring to a team that will stand out both on and off the field?

A team would get a Swiss Army knife. Someone who can be plugged in anywhere on defense as well as anywhere on special teams. Teams are something that I take great passion for because it’s a play that can sometimes determine the outcome of a game. They would also get a leader on and off the field. As well as an Ambassador who will represent the team in the community on the highest pedestal. Giving back is something I’m extremely passionate for.

Q: What is your final pitch to the NFL and any other pro leagues?

What ever team takes the chance on me won’t regret it. I’m a difference maker and an asset on and off the field. I’m going to come in everyday and make everyone around me better. My work ethic is unmatched and I want to earn the respect of everyone in the program through nothing else but my work ethic and how I play the game. I’m extremely versatile. I can play any defensive back position on the field. I’m able to get in and out of my breaks and transition extremely well. I can play in the box, cover the post, and line up in man coverage as well. I’m a student of the game and want to learn from everyone around me so I can be the best player I can be for the team. I add value through my play on special teams as well. All in all, I’m a team player that’s chasing greatness and want to bring some people with me so we can achieve success together.
