Q: What goals did you set and/or accomplish in your final collegiate season?

I was a 1st Team AAC All-Conference DB, tied for the most INTs in the conference, and also achieved AAC Defensive Player of the week twice this year.

Q: What would your coaches and teammates say about the type of player you are?

A resilient person, a player that has dealt with a lot of adversity and never complained or blamed anyone else.

Q: When you are studying film, what are the things you focus on to improve your game?

I try and find tendencies first, something that can alert me what type of play it is, for example if it’s a pass play, does the receiver mess with his gloves or if its a run play is the tackle leaning forward to get an edge on the defender. What’s the offense’s favorite run and pass plays. What do they like to do on certain downs and distances. It’s a lot you can look at when watching film. Film watching is my favorite thing to do.

Q: What separates you from the other pro prospects at your position?

Willing to step out my confront zone and do what I have to do for the greater good for the team. Willing to play different positions if needed.

Q: What is your offseason plan to train and prepare for professional opportunities?

Continue to improve on my abilities. I’m getting ready to attend the Podyum All-Star Bowl in Miami. Its a 4 day event from Jan 5-8 and just continue to pray.

Q: What kind of strengths and abilities will you bring to a team that will stand out both on and off the field?

I believe I have great playmaking skills, I am a takeaway machine where I had 15 takeaways in my college career (9 INTS , 6 FF) and 12 of them came in the last 2 seasons here at Point. I have the ability to buy into the program very quick. Make plays on special teams or defense. Do my job each and every day. I am very confident in my abilities on and off the field.

Q: What is your final pitch to the NFL and any other pro leagues?

Yes I came from a small NAIA school and a lot of people overlook that. I know I can compete with the best night in and night out. I’m ready to compete and if that team gives me an opportunity, you’ll never have to worry about me not doing my job.
