Q: What goals did you set and/or accomplish in your final collegiate season?

My personal goals for the season were to finish my career with over 1,000 receiving yards, finish first team All-CC, and allow my impact on the team to be bigger than just me on and off the field. I finished 1,201 receiving yards, Second team All-CC, and made a great impact. I assumed the role of leadership although I was not a captain and made it a point to bring a stronger impact off the field than on. Goals that I set for the team were to have a championship mentality and walk away with a title at the end of the season. Although we did not win a conference championship, we won the Centennial-MAC Bowl Championship which was a game we lost the year before.

Q: What would your coaches and teammates say about the type of player you are?

My coaches would say I am a selfless team player who is always looking to better himself. When I bring solutions it isn’t always just to benefit me but looking to get other players involved and bring the team to a higher level. My teammates would say I am a quiet leader who prides himself on loyalty and brotherhood. Anyone who has ever been around me learned something from me and walked away with a positive experience.

Q: When you are studying film, what are the things you focus on to improve your game?

I key in a lot on my opponent and what are their tendencies. I watch hudl but I also watch livestreams of the games to see what type of player they are. I key in on how they act when they make big plays but also how do they act when they mess up, do they make the play calls or do they look for the safety or coach to make it? Are they heavy on favoring certain sides and what are their weaknesses, I look for more than just the X’s and O’s, I want to understand what goes through their head at all times during the game because this game is more mental than physical. I also do my research on their stats and where the game will be held, I check everything to see are they focused in on the game or is their head somewhere else. I also focus on myself and how I carry myself on the field making sure I am always strengthening my weaknesses, the player they study on film all week the old me, every week I get better and smarter.

Q: What separates you from the other pro prospects at your position?

My heart, work ethic, and desire to compete. Being an undersized receiver, you have to be a dog to succeed and receive league recognition, watching my film you will see why I earned the respect I had and was a 2 year All Conference receiver. I am a hard worker who is at everyday consistently, I never came in any situation as the best in the room but always left on top. I love to compete as well and it doesn’t matter how we match up on paper, I will forever compete for what is mine.

Q: What is your offseason plan to train and prepare for professional opportunities?

I am training 2x a day 5 days a week with 2 days of active recovery. My days during the week start with a field session in the morning or a track workout and then a lifting session at night. My focus this offseason is strength in all positions and flexibility and durability. I am keying in on the little things and sharpening the intangibles. I am constantly watching film studying how the season went and taking notes to see what I can improve and what I need to sharpen.

Q: What kind of strengths and abilities will you bring to a team that will stand out both on and off the field?

My passion for learning. Every environment I step into I am like a sponge, my goal in everywhere I go is to learn as much as possible and never step off the field without physically getting better and mentally sharper. I will also bring speed and elusiveness to whatever team brings me into their family. I am a team first player who is willing to fill whatever role that is needed to succeed. My speed will open up the offense a lot and I am a game changing player. All this is shown when you cut on the tape.

Q: What is your final pitch to the NFL and any other pro leagues?

Take a chance. Bringing me into your organization, you are guaranteed a hard worker who is obsessed with greatness. I respect what every other prospect brings to the table but no one can out work me.
