Q: What goals did you set and/or accomplish in your final collegiate season?

Coming into this season I was very close to breaking all the passing records in my school’s history so that was a huge individual goal for me so accomplishing that meant a lot to me. As a team I wanted to win our conference and make the playoffs but we fell short of that.

Q: What would your coaches and teammates say about the type of player you are?

I would say that my coaches and teammates look at me as a tremendous leader. Not one that always leads vocally but when my words are voices they catch everyone’s attention. I lead with my confidence, my actions off the field, and my play on the field.

Q: When you are studying film, what are the things you focus on to improve your game?

As a quarterback when I’m watching film to better myself, most of the time my eyes are on defenses. Studying their tendencies and alignments better my play because when it comes game time, I’m not caught off guard and can go through my reads quickly and accurately.

Q: What separates you from the other pro prospects at your position?

I believe the think that separates me the most from other prospects is the amount of experience I have. I have started all 43 games in my career from week 1 of being a true freshman. But even with all that experience, my game still hasn’t reached its peak.

Q: What is your offseason plan to train and prepare for professional opportunities?

This offseason I spent my draft prep process with Terry Grossetti and Kyle Piper at Grossetti Performance. I have been going to those guys for awhile now but their draft prep was a completely different animal and major strides were made athletically.

Q: What kind of strengths and abilities will you bring to a team that will stand out both on and off the field?

Both on and off the field, the quality that will stand out the most about me is my hardworking mentality. Goals are meant to be reached and once they are, new ones are made. That hunger to always get better will make me the best player on the field, and the best teammate and person off the field.

Q: What is your final pitch to the NFL and any other pro leagues?

Football has always been the only thing I’ve seen myself doing in life. The countless hours put in when nobody was watching has put me in this situation to succeed on the professional level. I understand that coming from a small school comes with it’s question marks but there is no doubt in my mind that if you put me in the film room and on the field with any of the other guys, my knowledge and game will show that I can do everything they can and then some. I believe that I am the best chance any team can take on a quarterback.
