What goals did you set and/or accomplish in your final collegiate season?

My biggest goal for this past season was to be someone that my teammates could rely upon on and off the field. It was also to show our younger guys what it takes to play at a high level and overcome adversity when it presented itself. I feel that I accomplished these goals well during this past 2021 season.

Q: How do you think you took advantage of the extra year of eligibility to increase your chances of going pro?

I took huge advantage of my extra year because I was able to focus in on the details of my technique that make me great while getting stronger and more flexible.

Q: What would your coaches and teammates say about the type of player you are?

My coaches would say that I’m a player who plays with a lot of passion and wants to make an impact on the game. My teammates would say that I’m someone who leads by action and uplifts the energy of practice and games.

Q: When you are studying film, what are the things you focus on to improve your game?

When I watch film, I’m watching very precise details of my technique to see why a ball didn’t go exactly where I wanted it to and focus my practice time on the inconsistencies of my technique that I find.

Q: What separates you from the other pro prospects at your position?

A big thing that separates me from the other kickers in this draft class is that I have 64 career field goals under the belt. I have responded very well to adversity and take each kick as a new one regardless of the previous one. Lastly, an advantage that I have is my mentality. I, unlike many players in my position, want the big kicks to come to me, and I get excited vs. nervous when I get to go out and tie the game, ice the game, or win the game.

Q: What is your offseason plan to train and prepare for professional opportunities?

My plan right now is to get as fast, strong, and flexible as possibly before my pro day while mastering my technique on field goals and kicks offs. I am looking to make my biggest improvements on kick offs during this off season.

Q: What kind of strengths and abilities will you bring to a team that will stand out both on and off the field?

On the field, teams can look forward to having a kicker they can rely on and one who isn’t afraid to be on the field in big moments. Off the field, they can look forward to a man who likes to be involved in the community and does charitable work off the field as well.

Q: What is your final pitch to the NFL and any other pro leagues?

My final pitch to NFL teams is that I am a kicker with 4 years experience and proven consistency. I have handled success and failure throughout my career and become a better player through both experiences. I will look forward to competing in any city against anybody.
