NFL Draft 2017 Prospect: Lorenzo Mitchell
Name: Lorenzo Mitchell
Position: Tight End / H Back
Q: If you could describe your style of play in 3 words, what would they be?
Lorenzo: I would say that I play somewhat finesse, aggressive and I’m a playmaker
Q: How are you going to train/prepare this offseason in preparation for the draft or other pro opportunities?
Lorenzo: I have been training at Acceleration Performance in Naperville with JR and Mike Niklos. I have been working on my explosiveness and losing weight to increase my speed
Q: If you could compare yourself to one current or former NFL player who would it be and why?
Lorenzo: I would have to say Richard Rodgers. We have very similar body types and playing styles.
Q: When you are studying film, what do you focus on or look for?
Lorenzo: When I study film, I look for bad habits that my opponents tend to do or anything to tip off the coverage they’re in. Really just anything to give myself and the team an advantage.
Q: What separates you from other players at your position?
Lorenzo: I think my ball skills and ability to get separation when running routes is the difference between me and others. Also, my determination to block the guy in front of me.
Q: What kind of abilities would you bring to a team that will stand out both on and off the field?
Lorenzo: I think I would bring a hard working and positive game to any team on and off the field.
Q: What is your final pitch/sell to NFL and other pro league scouts?
Lorenzo: I would tell any team that my work ethic, determination, football IQ, ball skills and ability to play special teams makes me different from the rest of the guys at my position. I will do whatever I can to help the team Win.

Would be a good fit for a team that uses multiple TE sets. Need time to develop but can be a good #2 TE
