Name: Kevin Kutchera
College: South Alabama
Position: Wide Receiver
Height: 6’3″
Weight: 211

Q: If you could describe your style of play in 3 words, what would they be?

Kevin: Smart, technical, physical.

Q: How are you going to train/prepare this offseason in preparation for the draft or other pro opportunities?

Kevin: I have been training at Amp Performance in Mobile for about two months now. I have gotten bigger, stronger, and even faster since the end of last season.

Q: If you could compare yourself to one current or former NFL player who would it be and why?

Kevin: Jordy Nelson. We are similar in size. He runs great routes, has great hands and has very good body control like myself.

Q: When you are studying film, what do you focus on or look for?

Kevin: I look for what coverages I am going to see that week. I look for tendencies of corners. I look for weaknesses that I can take advantage of. A couple examples would be his alignment, if he’s in press coverage does he keep his feet hot? What different releases work on him? What hand does he normally shoot?

Q: What separates you from other players at your position?

Kevin: I am very coachable. I rarely make the same mistake twice. With a limited amount of targets I did as much damage as I could. I go hard every time I put my cleats on. I play every snap and I take no plays off.

Q: What kind of abilities would you bring to a team that will stand out both on and off the field?

Kevin: I am a very reliable receiver that you can lean on to get the first down. Off the field I do not get in trouble or put myself in situations that would risk my career. I was one of the four team captains this year for the jaguars because I lead by example on and off the field.

Q: What is your final pitch/sell to NFL and other pro league scouts?

Kevin: You will not regret signing me. I will be a great asset your team. I’ve been over looked my whole life and play with a chip on my shoulder. I’ve got size, speed, routes, body control, and great hands. All I need is a chance.
