NFL Draft 2017 Prospect: Keelan Cole

Name: Keelan Cole
College: Kentucky Wesleyan
Position: Wide Receiver
Height: 6’1″
Weight: 192

Q: If you could describe your style of play in 3 words, what would they be?

Keelan: Explosive, Meticulous, Selfless.

Q: How are you going to train/prepare this offseason in preparation for the draft or other pro opportunities?

Keelan: I will continue to watch the most recent film I have on myself, & improve my weaknesses. Transforming those weaknesses into my strengths, as well as try to get faster & stronger mentally & physically.

Q: If you could compare yourself to one current or former NFL player who would it be and why?

Keelan: Randy Moss, because he never settled for just a catch. He was trying to score a touchdown every time he touched the ball and that is my mindset while I’m on the field. I never know how many times I’m going to get a chance to catch the ball, but when that time comes, I am going to make it count.

Q: When you are studying film, what do you focus on or look for?

Keelan: I look for defensive coverages in certain offensive formations, & I focus on the weakness of the DBs & LBs. I try to spot out the holes that are in the defense, so when I’m running plays in practice I can relate what I’m doing in practice to game situations so that I know what to expect come game time.

Q: What separates you from other players at your position?

Keelan: I’m a student of the game, not just my position.

Q: What kind of abilities would you bring to a team that will stand out both on and off the field?

Keelan: You can put me at any position on the field including special teams & I will go out & do my role with no questions asked. Off the field I feel like my hard work could rub off.

Q: What is your final pitch/sell to NFL and other pro league scouts?

Keelan: If you give me a chance, you will not be disappointed.
