Brendan: I will be training at Exceed Sports Performance in Massachusetts to work on my speed, strength, and WR skills.

Q: If you could compare yourself to one current or former NFL player who would it be and why?

Brendan: Julian Edelman because he has bought into his organizations system both on and off the field. He has a high football IQ and a great ability to get open and make catches in traffic.

Q: When you are studying film, what do you focus on or look for?

Brendan: I look at the specific techniques of the defensive players. I then look at coverage tendencies based on down and distance as well as formation.

Q: What separates you from other players at your position?

Brendan: I believe I have a high football IQ and work ethic that allows me to continually develop my techniques as a football player which distinguishes myself from other players.

Q: What kind of abilities would you bring to a team that will stand out both on and off the field?

Brendan: Both my dedication on the field to excel in the offensive system and my dedication off the field to be a role model in the community will help me stand out in a positive way.

Q: What is your final pitch/sell to NFL and other pro league scouts?

Brendan: I am a highly motivated individual willing to do whatever it takes to fulfill my dream of playing football professionally. I have skills that are tangible, such as quickness, strength, and great hands that make me stand out compared to other players, but I think in an environment filled with many talented people, it is also my intangible qualities that will show how I could be a true asset to any team. I’m intelligent and have the ability to quickly assess what needs to be done in the midst of traffic, which will give me more overall value as a player. I think it will be the combination of these two skill sets that lets me leave a significant impact on any NFL organization.
