Q: If you could describe your style of play in 3 words, what would they be?
Aubrey: My style of play is Aggressive, Smart, Smooth.
Q: How are you going to train/prepare this offseason in preparation for the draft or other pro opportunities?
Aubrey: I am currently training with my strength and conditioning coach for all the specific drills and lifts that will be performed at my pro day.
Q: If you could compare yourself to one current or former NFL player who would it be and why?
Aubrey: If I had to choose a NFL to compare my game to, it would be Deandre Hopkins. He attacks the ball at its highest point and is very aggressive when he does it. He has very good hands just like me and his stature is very similar to mine.
Q: When you are studying film, what do you focus on or look for?
Aubrey: When studying film, I first look at any tendencies the defensive backs show to a certain coverage or a certain play. I also check to see how they play based on the down and distance and then I look at the specific techniques of the defensive players.
Q: What separates you from other players at your position?
Aubrey: What I believe separates me from other players at my position is that I have more hunger than a lot of these other players because I’m coming from a smaller school and get overlooked often. I also believe I separate myself from other players with my hands and ability to go up and get the ball no matter who is guarding me! I also break tackles very well and that’s another thing that separates me.
Q: What kind of abilities would you bring to a team that will stand out both on and off the field?
Aubrey: I will bring a very athletic young receiver that is hungry for any opportunity and willing to do anything to make it. I can also contribute on special teams as well in the returning game.
Q: What is your final pitch/sell to NFL and other pro league scouts?
Aubrey: My final pitch to NFL or other scouts is that once you take me you’re getting a player that is very coachable and loves the game. You’re also getting a good teammate that is willing to sacrifice anything to help the team and franchise succeed.
