Name: Armond McRae
College: Merrimack
Position: Running Back / Wide Receiver
Height: 6’0″
Weight: 210

Q: If you could describe your style of play in 3 words, what would they be?

Armond: Versatile, Elusive, Patient.

Q: How are you going to train/prepare this offseason in preparation for the draft or other pro opportunities?

Armond: I have a personal trainer who is working with me 6 days a week on my diet, speed, agility, and strength.

Q: If you could compare yourself to one current or former NFL player who would it be and why?

Armond: A cross between Shady McCoy and Marshall Faulk. I have the ability to either block, run, catch the ball out the backfield, or line up as a WR. Because of my patience, vision, and footwork, I’m able to get to through small creases in the defense and routinely get to the second level.

Q: When you are studying film, what do you focus on or look for?

Armond: Defense tendencies, how they respond to certain formations, individual weakness either at the line or DB, LB, also my O Line and where I may have missed certain holes or I could have run better routes.

Q: What separates you from other players at your position?

Armond: Speed, footwork, patience, and I can play almost every skill position on the offense so you can put me anywhere on the field to help the team.

Q: What kind of abilities would you bring to a team that will stand out both on and off the field?

Armond: A great teammate, hard worker, love to practice, study film and playbook, and will do anything to help the team win. Off the field I will represent my team, coaches, and owners like I represent my own family with pride and honor.

Q: What is your final pitch/sell to NFL and other pro league scouts?

Armond: As a player, I pride myself on my ability to play every offensive skill position well. This includes knowing their respective routes on any given play as well as the defensive coverage. I’m a big play guy that will deliver the big catch, big run, and that key block. I love the game and have a hunger to become better than I was yesterday and this will translate to my performance on the field and in the locker room. Any team that selects me won’t regret it, they are getting a very talented football player that will bring a great return on their investment.
