Akil: Physical, Aggressive, Tough.

Q: How are you going to train/prepare this offseason in preparation for the draft or other pro opportunities?

Akil: I will be training back home at a facility with my trainer, primarily working on things for my pro day.

Q: If you could compare yourself to one current or former NFL player who would it be and why?

Akil: I would have to say Micah Hyde from the Packers. He is very versatile and has played all positions in the secondary this season. I also have played all positions in the secondary this season and produced at all positions like Hyde.

Q: When you are studying film, what do you focus on or look for?

Akil: When studying film, I focus on watching tendencies from the QB to the WR on what they like to run on certain situations. I also watch how a WR will try and attack me while playing off in coverage or press man.

Q: What separates you from other players at your position?

Akil: My ball hawking ability and versatility in the secondary separates me from others.

Q: What kind of abilities would you bring to a team that will stand out both on and off the field?

Akil: I think the abilities of me on the field being a great teammate and hard worker will stand out to teams because I will do whatever it takes to get the job done. Off the field, I will help out the community by giving back and having football camps for the youth and also being a positive role model.

Q: What is your final pitch/sell to NFL and other pro league scouts?

Akil: I am willing to do whatever it takes to help the team win, all I need is a chance and you won’t regret it.
