Q: What goals did you accomplish heading into your final collegiate season?
It was extremely important for us to win our conference, although I had other personal goals that I wanted to accomplish during the season the number 1 goal in mind was to win the conference by any means necessary and we got that done.
Q: What would your coaches say about the type of player you are?
My coaches would say I’m an impact player, someone who you can count on to make plays in big points in the game, someone who analyzes and diagnoses defenses with great speed to then understand what the offense is trying to run against us.
Q: When you are studying film, what do you focus on to improve your game?
When studying film, I tend to focus on my own game first looking at practice film critiquing my technique and how I can become faster in and out of breaks. Then when watching opponents I will focus on the opposing receivers and how they release off the ball, their favorite routes and how they like to run them. Any little advantage can go a long way so looking at tendencies is also a super important aspect of my film study.
Q: What separates you from the other players at your position?
Eyes, I believe that my eye discipline is what would separate me from other players, The way I see and feel the game is different from most and I believe that this gives me a great advantage while on the field.
Q: How will you train and prepare this offseason for the draft or other pro opportunities?
I will be back home in Jersey, working out with my personal trainer at LeaksFitness getting ready for pro opportunities.
Q: What kind of strengths and abilities will you bring to a team that will stand out both on and off the field?
On the field I’ll be bringing passion and love for the game which will spread across the team influencing their passion and love for the game, I’m very big on leading by example as well so I will be carrying myself with great professionalism.
Q: What is your final pitch or sell to NFL and other pro league scouts?
From every stage of playing football, I’ve always felt that I could play with the best and as I continued to play and make it to the next level it is those who doubted me I want to prove wrong but also those who truly believe in me that I want to be able to prove right!
