Q: What goals did you set and/or accomplish in your final collegiate season?

I didn’t set any concrete goals for myself other than to have fun and enjoy my senior season. I knew there were a lot of eyes on me and a lot of expectations so I just tried to keep myself loose despite all of that. I just wanted to do what I had to do so that we could win games and compete for the conference championship again.

Q: What would your coaches and teammates say about the type of player you are?

They would say I’m somebody who shows up to work day in and day out. I’m dependable and reliable and I’m constantly looking for ways to improve myself. They would also say that I’m a leader because of those things.

Q: When you are studying film, what do you focus on to improve your game?

When I’m watching myself, the main 3 things I look at are my steps, my pad level and my hand placement. There have been many times where I came close to making a big play and the quarterback would throw it right before I got there and it would usually be because of one of those 3 things. When I’m looking at the other team I look at the Olineman’s stance, his eyes, and where his bodyweight is. Anything to give me a clue as to what’s coming.

Q: What separates you from the other pro prospects at your position?

I’m somebody who doesn’t feel like I’m too good for anything. I’m a workhorse and I just get it done. There have been multiple games where I would play 100+ snaps because I rarely ever rotated out on defense, and I was also playing special teams (Punt, punt return, & extra point/block).

Q: What is your offseason plan to train and prepare for professional opportunities?

I trained at Boost Performance in Nashville with Jordan Luallen where I made some significant improvements especially in my upper body strength. I didn’t get to officially test but I definitely saw results during my time there.

Q: What kind of strengths and abilities will you bring to a team that will stand out both on and off the field?

I’m just somebody who does what I’m supposed to do and I don’t cause distractions. I’m an extremely dedicated person and I do not like to let people down especially when they are counting on me, and that is something that I believe shows up in all aspects of life not just football.

Q: What is your final pitch to the NFL or any other pro leagues?

You’re going to get somebody who will come in and try to take in as much information as I can so that I can be the best player that I can be. I’m going to go hard every single day to become the player that I know I can be and exceed all prior expectations.
