Q: What goals did you set and/or accomplish in your final collegiate season?
I wanted to be an all conference player in my final season and I accomplished that.
Q: What would your coaches and teammates say about the type of player you are?
They would say I am determined to do whatever needs to be done in order to win the game. They would also say I never quit or back down from any challenge.
Q: When you are studying film, what are the things you focus on to improve your game?
I like to focus on the tendencies of the offensive lineman I will be going against. Looking at things such as how heavy are they on their toes or heels, what kind of pass set they give, and many other things. Once I figure out those tendencies I break down the offensive plays and formations.
Q: What separates you from the other pro prospects at your position?
The thing that separates me the most from other prospects in my position is that my knowledge for this game is beyond measure. I’ve been playing and studying this game since I was 5 years old. Another thing is my work ethic and preparation separates me from all my competition.
Q: What is your offseason plan to train and prepare for professional opportunities?
My offseason plan is to continue training and preparing for any opportunity that God puts in my way. I know for a fact I will be prepared for any doors that open.
Q: What kind of strengths and abilities will you bring to a team that will stand out both on and off the field?
My greatest strengths and abilities that I will bring to any team is my ability to create pressure. Being able to cause pressure, not just sacks, disrupts the offensive game plan completely. I also am a very studious athlete. Football is more than just being faster and stronger than someone. It is about being smarter than your opponents as well.
Q: What is your final pitch to the NFL and any other pro leagues?
To any coaches who may see this, all I am asking for is a chance to come out and show you that I will be an asset to your team. I will work harder than everyone on the field and I won’t ever give up.
