Q: What goals did you set and/or accomplish in your final collegiate season?

I’m not sure I really had any personal goals for this season specifically other than to come out and just enjoy every moment of my final year. As a team I know we had the goal of winning conference and fell short of that but I still felt like the season was a success. I wanted to continue to build off the great season I had my junior year as well, and put two awesome seasons back to back which I felt like I did.

Q: What would your coaches and teammates say about the type of player you are?

I think my coaches and teammates would say that I’m a tough, physical, and smart player that they can always count on no matter the situation in the game. I hope they would also describe me as a leader, someone who helped set the tone and show everyone what it looked like to have the standard we set for ourselves.

Q: When you are studying film, what are the things you focus on to improve your game?

When I study film I really focus on tendencies a team has formation wise, and from there I look a specific players. For example I watch what routes does a player like to run, are they in-breaking or out-breaking routes, at how many yards does he make his moves, stuff like that. It lets me set a solid game plan in my head of what leverage I need to play against certain guys.

Q: What separates you from the other pro prospects at your position?

I’d say my versatility is a key factor that would separate me from other prospects. Whether it’s playing in the box, or as a high safety and even as a nickel. I’ve played all three at a high level and have shown great production from all three positions against both the running and passing game.

Q: What is your offseason plan to train and prepare for professional opportunities?

My plan for the off-season is to train at Armed Sports in Houston, TX. I’ve been here for about a month already and I’m loving every second of it. In such a short time I can already see improvement in my strength and speed and I love working with the other guys we have here we got a really good group!

Q: What kind of strengths and abilities will you bring to a team that will stand out both on and off the field?

A few of my abilities I can think of both on and off the field would be my character, the passion I have for the game, and my ability to make plays. Both my mother and father did an excellent job of raising me and teaching me to treat everyone with respect. I think that’s very easy to see when someone meets me and I also think it’s easy to see just the passion and love of the game that I have. I play every snap as if it was my last and I’m always around the football. And those two things combine to help allow me to be in position to make a lot of plays.

Q: What is your final pitch to the NFL and any other pro leagues?

My final pitch would be that I can come in and immediately add value and make your team and your organization better. If you’re looking for a high character, hard working, smart, athletic guy to bring in and be a play maker then I’m your guy. I love special teams and I’m not afraid to do whatever it takes to earn a spot on a team. And I’d say anyone is more than welcome to talk with any of my previous coaches, trainers, ect and see that they’d all say the same things about me.
