Q: What goals did you set and/or accomplish in your final collegiate season?
My goal I set for my final collegiate season was to be the most dominant defensive line in D3 football. Also, to be recognized as an All-American and to be 2x All-Region defensive line. Lastly, I wanted to take my team to the national championship.
Q: What would your coaches and teammates say about the type of player you are?
What my coaches and my teammates would say about me is that I would do anything for the team that is needed to be done, but also just a hardworking person that has the motive to be the leader that is needed to be for the team. Also, just having that dog mentality creates an environment that everyone wants to be around.
Q: When you are studying film, what are the things you focus on to improve your game?
I think when studying film, I would just focus on the person I’m going against and look at their tendency and their footwork and see what I can do better or different to beat the person I’m going against. Also, I look at the formation and see what plays they like to run because it can give me a advantage due to I know where the ball is going to be.
Q: What separates you from the other pro prospects at your position?
I think what separates me would be my drive on each play and always trying to make the play or my hands always working. Also, me being explosive off the ball and causing disruption.
Q: What is your offseason plan to train and prepare for professional opportunities?
I think my offseason plan is to workout either at St. Cloud or find a facility in the cities to get training and to prepare me for the professional opportunities.
Q: What kind of strengths and abilities will you bring to a team that will stand out both on and off the field?
I think my strengths and abilities I would bring to a team would be, being a person doing everything right and paying attention to the little things because the little things matter on the field and off the field. Also, just being a hard worker and leading by example.
Q: What is your final pitch to the NFL and any other pro leagues?
I think my final pitch to the NFL and any other pro leagues is that I just want to show the world my talent and to show that I can ball even though I went to D3 football. Also, that it really doesn’t matter the size of the person, but it matters the heart of the person.
