What goals did you set and/or accomplish in your final collegiate season?

As a team our goal was set out to become conference champs. To add to that, I wanted to be apart of a great defense and be coached hard every day. I placed my goals at being the most dominant player on the field every snap I took. My goal was to go as hard as I possibly can with every opportunity given to me.

Q: How do you think you took advantage of the extra year of eligibility to increase your chances of going pro?

I took advantage of the Covid year by training even harder, studying my playbook, and learning more about my teammates. This past season was the first time I played in a 3-4 scheme so the extra year helped me fine tune the transition from a 4-3 scheme.

Q: What would your coaches and teammates say about the type of player you are?

My coaches and teammates would say I’m a player that leads by example. I’m a player that comes in to work each and every single day with a positive attitude. When the going gets tough I love to uplift my team to help us get through everything.

Q: When you are studying film, what are the things you focus on to improve your game?

When I’m studying film I look for the details. Whether that’s anything the opposing team is doing pre-snap, tendencies, and scheme. Whenever I’m watching film of myself I’m always my biggest critic. I make sure my eyes are in the right place, I know my assignment, and I make sure I’m giving maximum effort.

Q: What separates you from the other pro prospects at your position?

What separates me from other pro prospects at my position is that a team will know what they are getting. I want to be the best at all times and anything that comes my way, I want to earn it. I’m always looking to learn and asking questions to make sure I’m on top of my game. Most of all I have something that you can’t coach, and that’s heart.

Q: What is your offseason plan to train and prepare for professional opportunities?

Following the FCS Bowl and FBS Tropical Bowl, my off-season plans right now is to make sure I’m ready for pro day.

Q: What kind of strengths and abilities will you bring to a team that will stand out both on and off the field?

On the field, strengths that I will bring to a team is full-blown effort. I pride myself in playing the whole play through the whistle blow. A team will be getting a player in me that can play multiple linebacker positions and defensive end in any given game situation. Off the field, strengths I will bring is great positive energy to be around. I’m someone that cares for the common goal and I’m always looking to light up the room.

Q: What is your final pitch to the NFL and any other pro leagues?

My final pitch to the NFL is that I worked so hard and overcame so many obstacles to get to this point. I will work for everything that’s coming my way. All I’m looking for is an opportunity and I promise whichever team that picks me won’t regret it. God is the greatest.
