Q: What goals did you set and/or accomplish in your final collegiate season?
My one goal that I set was to break the starting line up after not playing football in a year from transferring. I accomplished that!
Q: What would your coaches and teammates say about the type of player you are?
They would say I’m a confident player with a whole lot of pride.
Q: When you are studying film, what do you focus on to improve your game?
First thing I look at is the practices during the week. I look at my feet work and see what I can improve. I also look at coverages that we’re focusing on that week to see what I can do to be in the right spot come Saturday. Last when I scout opponents I look at the WRs release and stem, if the WR is a speed or possession receiver and look at how they carry the ball.
Q: What separates you from the other pro prospects at your position?
The thing that separates me is confidence. I compete with ANYBODY. I don’t care if the WR is an All-American. Another thing is at DB you’re going to have a bad play if you playing long enough. One thing I always focus on is the next play. I plan on making the next play instead of thinking about the last play.
Q: What is your offseason plan to train and prepare for professional opportunities?
My offseason plan is to train at Grossetti Performance. Grossetti performance specialize in NFL Draft Prep. I feel like training for the NFL will get me prepared for any pro league.
Q: What kind of strengths and abilities will you bring to a team that will stand out both on and off the field?
One thing I’ll bring to the team on the field is a corner that plays with technique and don’t rely on just talent because everybody at the next level has talent. I’m also a corner that is not afraid to come up a tackle. Off the field I am a guy who tries to keep positive energy. I know people that have bad days because something isn’t going right in life so I would try to get them to look at the bright side of things.
Q: What is your final pitch to the NFL or any other pro leagues?
My final pitch to the NFL or other pro leagues will be you are getting a guy that goes 110% everyday. I was told I wouldn’t make it to play college ball and almost every college coach told me I might not play, BUT now I have started in several D2 and D3 (Marietta College) football games. I’m blessed that I have came this far but I’ve came to far to just stop now.
