Q: What goals did you set and/or accomplish in your final collegiate season?

My goal was to Finish as a team with a wining season. I obtained all – conference, during the process. Another goal was to have more touchdowns than games played for the season, by week 4 I was nearly doubled already. Another goal was to receive the HBCU a Legacy bowl invite, thanks to god & my coaches I was able to complete that goal, lastly to make sure I attend all chapel meetings before every game-which I completed that as well.

Q: What would your coaches and teammates say about the type of player you are?

Committed, destined, competitive, reliant, fierce. Desires to win.

Q: When you are studying film, what are the things you focus on to improve your game?

Each opponent is different, therefore my film study varies. If I face a heavy flow defense. I study for the back-side cuts, if I’m going out for passes who’s generally covering me and what are their cover skills and lastly defenders tendencies, meaning What defender misses a lot of tackles, how does he tackle, is he a big hitter, or does he duck his head and go for ankles, I analyze defenders what does he weigh, Should I run him over? How tall is he, should I hurdle him? who makes hits & not wrap up are my favorite defenders. During the week I study the upcoming Opponent, and work on that skill set to polish my game, before facing that defense.

Q: What separates you from the other pro prospects at your position?

Maturity, GRIT, longevity, & Accountability. I’d be the first to leave you with a head scratcher of how’d he break those multiple tackles. Aggressive blocker. And although I’m a Back I haven’t dropped a ball thrown to me in a game.

Q: What is your offseason plan to train and prepare for professional opportunities?

I plan to further more build torque speed, I run exceptionally fast, I’ve never been ran down but I plan to build that pull away speed with stride. The professional league is different everyone is fast no matter the position, it isn’t like college. I also plan to build muscle endurance. More than usual reps 20-25 as per usual in college 8-12 range.

Q: What kind of strengths and abilities will you bring to a team that will stand out both on and off the field?

I have a experience working in the mental health field. Some athletes outside of playing sports may get depressed or feel they have nothing else to live for, not sure what to do with their life is how I plan to help others. I plan to help the next individual. On the field I bring to the team, a Born leader, Grit, Balance elusiveness/determination is my go to. I have no problem with making the first two guys miss.

Q: What is your final pitch to the NFL and any other pro leagues?

Lastly, I’m the one you’re looking for, you ask why ? Give me your best defender and let me show you why I’m on the radar. I put my pants leg on, one leg at a time, just like individuals on professional teams. All they needed was a chance & now so do I. No matter the situation I’ve always been out at a disadvantage not just with football but even in life but somehow I always come on top. Here I am, let’s get to work.
