Q: What goals did you set and/or accomplish in your final collegiate season?

My goals was to have a good season as a team and have a chance to make a run for the playoffs. But for me personally, I came in the season wanting to be a leader by example and help the young guys on the offensive line better their game. Also, do anything it tasks to put my team in the best position to win. This past season I was named All Conference for the second year in a row.

Q: What would your coaches and teammates say about the type of player you are?

The type of player my coaches and teammates would say I am is, a player who shows up everyday to work, gets better and works on perfecting my craft. A great competitor and very poised under pressure and doesn’t shy away from the moment.

Q: When you are studying film, what are the things you focus on to improve your game?

When I am watching film on myself I like to breakdown my steps, hand placement, head placement, and pad level. When it comes to watching other defensive linemen, I like to watch how they are aligned, their ball get off, if they are good at using their hands, their go-to moves, do they use power or speed, and how often are they on the field. Also, I am watching the linebackers. How often they blitz and how do they take on blocks.

Q: What separates you from the other pro prospects at your position?

I am willing to do anything to help the team win even if that’s switching my position, I am a very unselfish player. My IQ for the game, being a starter since my sophomore year I was able to see multiple defensives and watching it on film and breaking it down helped me as a player throughout my career. I am always working on my craft, I found a flaw in my game and I work at it until it is no longer a flaw.

Q: What is your offseason plan to train and prepare for professional opportunities?

My offseason plan is to continue to work on my game, workout and study film until my opportunity comes.

Q: What kind of strengths and abilities will you bring to a team that will stand out both on and off the field?

I am willing to compete against anyone. I let my play on the field speaks for itself. I am willing to do whatever I need to do to be successful. I am a fast learner and very coachable. Off the field, I’m watching film and taking mental reps daily. Also I am making sure I am always available.

Q: What is your final pitch to the NFL and any other pro leagues?

I may not pass the eye test with me being undersized but, I will give you everything I got.
