What goals did you set and/or accomplish in your final collegiate season?

A few goals I set for myself before the start of the season was to become an all American and all win the award for the best defensive player in Division 2 football. Unfortunately I fell shit if those goals but it did not stop me from achieving first team honors in the RMAC for the second year straight.

Q: How do you think you took advantage of the extra year of eligibility to increase your chances of going pro?

This extra year of eligibility gave me the chance to step into a roll that helped me grow as a player and person.

Q: What would your coaches and teammates say about the type of player you are?

My teammates and coaches would refer to me as a playmaker, leader or field general. I was one of the guys who they relied on when we need a big play or to shift the momentum back to us.

Q: When you are studying film, what are the things you focus on to improve your game?

When I study film I like to watch myself after the game to see what it is that I can improve on and what do I do that might tip off the coverage we are in and how I can use that for next week games to give opposing teams a false look. Another thing I look for in film is when I’m watching pope it’s would be all the little things. Whether it’s a stance from a receiver on certain routes they run or tendencies from the o-line e and QB.

Q: What separates you from the other pro prospects at your position?

I think what separates me from other pro prospects in my position is my heart and my mind. I believe I’m the smartest person at all times and the biggest person on the field. I am not intimidated by anyone or any challenge and I think that’s what separates me from the pack I want to be number 1.

Q: What is your offseason plan to train and prepare for professional opportunities?

My plans this off season is to use the facilities at my school to lift and condition to prepare for upcoming pro days and try outs!

Q: What kind of strengths and abilities will you bring to a team that will stand out both on and off the field?

The skills that I believe I can bring to any team is my intelligence and passion for the game. I wouldn’t do anything off the field to tarnish my image or the teams image.

Q: What is your final pitch to the NFL and any other pro leagues?

All I am asking for is an opportunity that I guarantee will pay off for anyone that takes a chance on me!
