What goals did you set and/or accomplish in your final collegiate season?

Coming into to my final season I wanted to rush for over 1,000 yards and I did. Another goal I set and accomplished was to help my team win conference.

Q: How do you think you took advantage of the extra year of eligibility to increase your chances of going pro?

Coming back another year allowed me to put more on film. It also, presented multiple all star game opportunities. I received invitations to the FCS Bowl and NAIA senior bowl.

Q: What would your coaches and teammates say about the type of player you are?

Coaches and teammates would say nothing but positive things about me. They would likely describe me as someone who is humble, highly competitive, unselfish, and fun to be around.

Q: When you are studying film, what are the things you focus on to improve your game?

When looking at my opponents film I’m looking to see how everyone is lining up. From the corners depth to the defensive lineman’s technique. Also, I look at tendencies. Small things like tendencies help me identify blitzes, coverages, and the way certain defenders tackle. When looking at myself on film I look at things like my alignment, pace, if I took the right course, and if I finished with phenomenal effort.

Q: What separates you from the other pro prospects at your position?

My football IQ. I’ve played both sides of the ball at a collegiate level. I’m a durable player that can take 25+ carries a game. Also, off the field there will never be any issues. I represent myself, my family, and my team.

Q: What is your offseason plan to train and prepare for professional opportunities?

My off-season plans are to workout hard with a strength coach and to train with my personal trainer. I have multiple combine opportunities I plan to take an advantage of.

Q: What kind of strengths and abilities will you bring to a team that will stand out both on and off the field?

I’m a versatile player. When a scout evaluates my film they’ll see that I’m more than just size. I’m able to catch the ball out of the back field, make defenders miss and pass protect. Also, My frame allows me to do the dirty work and pound the ball for multiple carries. Off the field, I hold myself accountable in all that I do. I know I represent so much more than myself.

Q: What is your final pitch to the NFL and any other pro leagues?

There’s no doubt in my mind that on every down you’ll receive nothing but maximum effort. Whether that’s on offense or special teams. It’s instilled in me to protect the quarterback and to protect the football.
