What goals did you set and/or accomplish in your final collegiate season?
Transferring into JMU I had two goals, earn the starting job and finish the season start to finish.
Q: How do you think you took advantage of the extra year of eligibility to increase your chances of going pro?
I took advantage of the extra year by showing I can play in any system and contribute on a powerhouse team/program that played the top teams in our division.
Q: What would your coaches and teammates say about the type of player you are?
From all levels of football and every team I’ve played on every coach will say I am a team first guy who is the hardest working in any room I step in.
Q: When you are studying film, what are the things you focus on to improve your game?
I focus to pick apart any and all presnap ques/ reads. This gives me a step ahead of any opponent before the ball is even snapped to play fast.
Q: What separates you from the other pro prospects at your position?
What separates me is my versatility in my position. Big, fast, agile, smart with finesse. I can execute and run play at a high level, excellent run and pass blocker, also catching out the backfield/down the field. To add, I started on both sides of the ball at multiple positions.
Q: What is your offseason plan to train and prepare for professional opportunities?
I am training at Parisi speed school at the moment, but might join the MJP speed facility in Texas.
Q: What kind of strengths and abilities will you bring to a team that will stand out both on and off the field?
I pride myself on my Character and leadership both on and off the field. My work ethic will raise eyebrows. I will seek any chance to soak up and learn from all the guys I come across and do whatever the team requires of me to make us 1% better.
Q: What is your final pitch to the NFL and any other pro leagues?
Taking a chance on me you aren’t just getting a great athlete and football player. You are getting an even better person who wants the best for others. I’m willing to give my all for the betterment of the team and aim to inspire each individual throughout that process in some way not just in football.
