What goals did you set and/or accomplish in your final collegiate season?

My main goal for myself was to make All-Conference which I accomplished. Coming from running back and not having any experience on defense, this was a huge accomplishment for me in my opinion. It just shows my versatility and how much hard work I put into my craft.

Q: How do you think you took advantage of the extra year of eligibility to increase your chances of going pro?

Well as of now I’ve decided that I’m not going to use my extra year of eligibility, but I still think I made the most of my final season to hopefully put myself in position to play professionally.

Q: What would your coaches and teammates say about the type of player you are?

Other than me being a great player, they would say that I lead by example in everything that I do and that I’m a very hard worker. Any coach that I’ve ever played for will tell you the same.

Q: When you are studying film, what are the things you focus on to improve your game?

When I’m studying film, I really try to pick up on route concepts and an offense’s favorite plays in certain situations. I also study tendencies such as the tempo of a receiver’s release off the line, a quarterback’s favorite target, and plays based off of personnel.

Q: What separates you from the other pro prospects at your position?

Some things that I can say separates me from other pro prospects at my position is my speed, playing fast and fundamentals. As I mentioned already, coming from running back, I had no defensive experience, but these three things took me a long way and made me the player I am today.

Q: What is your offseason plan to train and prepare for professional opportunities?

My plan is to continue to train so that I’m ready for any combine opportunities. I’m also going to work on being a better all around defensive back and learn as much as I can to improve my game.

Q: What kind of strengths and abilities will you bring to a team that will stand out both on and off the field?

I would say my on field strength would be my speed and my off the field strength would be how critical I am when watching myself on film.

Q: What is your final pitch to the NFL and any other pro leagues?

When you get me, you get a player who is dedicated to being the best player he can possibly be. You get a player who is going to come to work every day with a positive attitude regardless of what’s going on around him and go hard in everything he does.
