Q: What goals did you set and/or accomplish in your final collegiate season?
The goals that were set was to win a conference championship, make the playoffs and win the NCAA D2 championship. My team actually won the conference championship and went to the semifinals of the playoffs. We ended up one game short at a chance for the championship.
Q: What would your coaches and teammates say about the type of player you are?
They would say I’m the type of player that handles business, passionate about the game. Very technical with a motor, a player that will lead by example.
Q: When you are studying film, what are the things you focus on to improve your game?
What’s the top plays, formations, blocking schemes a team uses the most throughout a game. I also watch for what pass rush moves work against certain OL.
Q: What separates you from the other pro prospects at your position?
What separates me from other players is my mentality along with my work ethic and well as my passion and drive to be a great player. I feel as if I’ve been through a lot in my life to get to this point and none of that could break me and I use that as my motivation to become the best player and person I can be.
Q: What is your offseason plan to train and prepare for professional opportunities?
Right now I’m in between training in Fort Worth and houston with my personal trainers.
Q: What kind of strengths and abilities will you bring to a team that will stand out both on and off the field?
My speed to power; my ability to defeat double teams aggressively and able to stop the run. Also at my weight and size.
Q: What is your final pitch to the NFL and any other pro leagues?
When you pick me up, you getting somebody that’s going to embrace the culture the team has. We not cutting no corners around here, I’m gone put the work in to better the team regardless. Y’all getting straight blue collar with me nothing but hard work and 100%. This what I came back to do! I came back to play some ball!
